Bonjour Quilts Privacy Policy

Bonjour Quilts takes your privacy and the security of your data seriously.

Email

Bonjour Quilts uses your email address to send you the Bonjour Quilts newsletter (quilting news, free tutorials, quilt patterns, sewing products, etc).

Your email address will never be used to spam you and will never be sold to another party.

You will always be able to unsubscribe quickly and easily from the newsletters – just look for the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

Cookies

This website also uses “cookies” to collect anonymous data, via Google Analytics, on how the site is used. For instance, Google Analytics can show which blog posts are the most clicked on, which can be used to plan future blog post topics. It shows where the majority of my readers come from (the USA) so I know which currency to use in my pattern shop. Data like this is very handy for making sure my website is as useful and interesting as possible for my readers. Only bulk data is collected – it cannot be connected to individuals.

Affiliate Links

This website makes use of some affiliate links (generally Amazon affiliates). When you purchase through an affiliate link, I receive a (very!) small commission, at no additional cost to you (it comes out of Amazon’s marketing budget). I use these commissions to help pay for the running of this website. If you do make a purchase through one of my affiliate links, thank you very much! Every little bit helps with the cost of bringing tutorials and other quilty entertainment to you.

Questions?

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please email me at Kirsty (at) bonjourquilts [dot] com, or just hit reply to one of my newsletters.

And here’s the info that the advertising company needs included:

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)

The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies. A cookie is a small text file which is sent to your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”) by the web server so that a website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the Website.

For more information about cookies and how to disable them, you can consult the information at All About Cookies.

Without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of the Website content and features. Please note that rejecting cookies does not mean that you will no longer see ads when you visit our Site. In the event you opt-out, you will still see non-personalized advertisements on the Website.
