An art deco inspired pattern pack for a striking modern cushion cover, baby and mini quilts, plus a gentle intro to half rectangle triangles.
Deco Diamonds includes instructions to sew:
- a 38″ x 48″ baby quilt
- a 20.5″ square mini-quilt
- a 20″ square cushion with envelope back
The patchwork component of the pattern is completely machine pieced, no paper piecing required.
The pattern takes you through sewing half-rectangle triangles (HRTs). If you’re a seasoned HRT sewist then you’ll have no problems at all and yes, the HRTs in this pattern are compatible with Bloc_Loc HRT specialty rulers.
If you’ve never sewn an HRT in your life then you’re in good hands. The pattern has a link to a detailed, photo-accompanied description on how to trim HRTs using a standard ruler. No special equipment required!
