Gather ‘Round

I’m proud to show you my second quilt pattern, Gather ‘Round, which can be found here in my pattern shop.

I call it Gather ‘Round because of that chevron circle. It really wants to get all your loved ones to cluster and snuggle together on or under this quilt. To facilitate this, Gather ‘Round finishes at a large lap size – 60″ x 80″.

Gather ‘Round is a great quilt for a beginner who has already cut their teeth on a pattern (or two) and is ready to try something a little different, but not too hard.

As with Diamonds in the Deep, there are complete cutting instructions so that you can maximise every last bit of fabric. I also created ‘mirror image’ cutting layouts, which means you can fold your yardage in half and cut two blocks at the same time. Bonus!

For those that appreciate nesting seams – I have complete pressing instructions in this pattern to make sure it all nests nicely. I love it when I don’t have to think about this and hope you will too.

Another handy thing about this pattern is that there are only a few places where matching points matter. For the majority of the pattern non-accuracy won’t stick out like a rotary-cut thumb.

There are plenty of diagrams to make sure the whole process is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

I have a version in another colour way to show you shortly. See you then!
